- Data protection and security
Definition
Sorting data into levels by how sensitive it is, so each level gets the right protection. Your organisation sets the levels, such as Public, Internal and Confidential. A label follows the data, so a copy or summary keeps it unless someone checks and changes it.
Example
A summary of Liberty Orbit's farm customers by county is derived data. If a county has only one or two farms, the summary can still point to them. It keeps its label until someone checks it.
Liberty Orbit Inc. is a fictional company created for Insyt.
