Definition

A pattern that repeats at the same time each year, month or week. A seasonal peak is not growth. To judge growth, compare a period with the same period a year earlier.

Example

71% of Alta Sky Centre's admissions fall between November and March. A busy December does not show the business is growing. Comparing December with the previous December does.

Alta Sky Centre AS is a fictional company created for Insyt.
